"Use a 3TC block and crank. The 2T crank has a 70mm stroke. The 3T crank has a 78mm stroke which adds 200cc. The engine type is stamped on the block next to the oil dipstick tube, as well as on the aluminum ID tag on the firewall. You can also tell by the "1.8" logo on the trunk. The 3T crank can be used in a 2T block, but you will have to machine some metal away from under the cylinder bores and the sides of the block where the rod bolts will hit. The only other difference from a 2T to a 3T block is the exhaust gas recirculation hole found on the 2T block (behind the oil filter) is not present on a 3T."
