Brief History
Toyota launched this '3rd generation' Corolla and it was popular as ever. It was bigger in size than its predecessor. There were many variants as Toyota introduced another similar model under the name of 'Sprinter' and marketed it at the same time. There were also various engine sizes and came in many different forms.
On our local scene, it was mainly the '1166cc' 4 door Sedan and to a much lesser extent, the 2 door Sedan. The rest of the variants were never imported in or very few came in. There were so many of this Corolla's back then but sadly, very few remained till this day. There were a lot more of the boxy corolla remained, which was its successor
